After being released in India and China, Xiaomi is now bringing Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A to Indonesia. Both of these phones are ready to fill the Indonesian market starting today 4/12/2019. Both of these phones already bring advantages in terms of battery and design. Both of them already use a 5,000 mAh battery capacity with support for 18W fast charging.

Now if it’s a matter of design, Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A use the shiny shell concept or what is called aura mirror. This design makes this phone look premium and comfortable to hold in the hand.

According to the information Dafunda Tekno quoted from GSMArena, the Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A have a screen measuring 6.22 inches HD + and there are bangs (notched) on the top. The aspect ratio is 81.8% and the screen already uses protection from Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Performance matters, these two phones are already using chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 with GPU adreno 505. Redmi 8 is available in two variants, namely 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM and 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM. Meanwhile, the Redmi 8A has three variants, namely 2GB / 32GB RAM, 3GB / 32GB RAM and 4GB / 64GB RAM. The storage of both phones can still be increased up to 512 GB via microSD.

But unfortunately Redmi 8A does not have a fingerprint sensor while Redmi 8 has a fingerprint sensor on the back of the smartphone.

Talking about price, Redmi 8, which is a 4G / 64GB RAM variant, costs 7,999 rupees in India or Rp. 1.6 million. Meanwhile, the price of Redmi 8A RAM 2GB / 32GB is priced at 6,499 rupees or IDR 1.3 million.
