Prospective Carrier of Dead Tray, PPI Tangsel Denies Physical Violence

Purna Paskibraka Indonesia (PPI), South Tangerang City (Tangsel), dismissed the news that a student of the Pusaka Flag Raising Force (Paskibraka) named Aurel Qurrota Ain had died due to physical violence.

It is known that Aurel died at his house, which is located at Perumahan Taman Royal 2, Cipondoh, Tangerang, Thursday, August 1, 2021. Shortly thereafter, news circulated on many WhatsApp groups that said there were irregularities regarding the cause of the deceased’s sudden death.

The head of PPI Tangsel, Warta Wijaya, emphasized that there was no physical violence when all Paskibraka members practiced. Moreover, in training they also assist members of the TNI.

“There is no physical contact. But if there is physical exercise, it is physical exercise such as running and so on, ”said Warta when confirmed by reporters, Friday (2/8/2019).

Aurel’s parents have let the child go. Even though it was hard, the pair Faried Abdurahman and Wahyuniarti would not report to the police regarding the alleged abuse that happened to their baby.

Almrhumah Aurel himself is currently a class XI MIPA 3 student, SMA Islam Al Azhar BSD. The family had mentioned that Aurel’s face had recently looked quite pale. Even though this has never happened before.

Previously, the news of the death of the candidate carrying the flag tray at the independence ceremony on August 17 was delivered directly by the Deputy Mayor of Tangsel, Benyamin Davnie. The police have coordinated with Aurel’s family to investigate this case. But the family has let Aurel go, so they don’t want to bring this matter to the realm of law.
