How to make a passport online through the application, in just 5 minutes!

A passport is needed for every Indonesian citizen (WNI) who plans to go abroad. Along with the development of technology, nowadays in making passports online through the application.

Passport Requirements

In making a passport, you must fulfill documents that must be brought and prepared when making a passport at the immigration office. Next, the documents that you must prepare.

For Indonesian citizens (WNI):

1. Valid Identity Card (KTP)
2. Family Card (KK)
3. Birth certificate or baptism certificate
4. Marriage certificate or marriage book, diploma
5. Old passport, if you want to extend your passport

Whereas for Indonesian citizens who are domiciled in Indonesia, the requirements for making a passport are:

1. Valid KTP of both parents
2. Family Card (KK)
3. Birth certificate or baptism certificate
4. Parents’ marriage book or marriage certificate
5. Old ordinary passport for those who already have it

Steps to Make an Online Passport Through the Application

Time needed: 5 minutes.

This time, Dafunda Tekno will share how to make online passports through the application “Online Passport Services” owned by the Directorate General of Immigration and Kemenkumham RI.

1. Download the Online Passport Service Application on the Google PlayStore

   The first step is that you have to download the online passport application on the Google Play Store.

   This application was made by the Directorate General of Immigration and the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia

2. Create / Register an Account on the Online Passport Application
   

   After you download it, you need to create an account first. Click register with Google or Facebook.

3. Click OK

   A notification will appear that u0022Emaik you are not registeredu0022,

4. Register and Fill in Personal Data

   After this you have to register yourself by filling in your personal data such as NIK number, date of birth, full name, username, password, confirm password, email, cellphone number, and gender.

5. Login

   After successfully registering, you must log in with the username and password that you registered earlier.

6. Click the Passport Queue Menu
7. Select the Immigration Office

   Select the immigration office you want to go to to apply for a passport. Check, the immigration office closest to your domicile.

8. Fill in the number of applicants, time of arrival and available date

   First, you enter the number of applicants: how many people you will take care of to make their passports.
   Then the date and time of your arrival to take care of your passport.

9. Click OK on the confirmation notification window
10. Save Proof of Registration

    After that, you will get a barcode and proof of registration. Well, you can save it by saving it in PDF form or a screenshot which will be shown to the officer later.
