Asus Launches HP Gaming ROG Phone 3 with Divine Specs
Asus officially released the latest generation gaming smartphone from ROG Phone 3. The launch event was held virtually, Asus Co-CEO, SY Hsu explained the advantages of this gaming phone. It is claimed that the resulting performance is close to PC gaming. Instead of being curious, let’s just take a look at the following full review.
When viewed in terms of design, there is no significant difference from its predecessor. However, there is a little difference in the Heat Sink for air circulation. Now it looks more attractive with metallic color accents.
ROG Phone 3 will carry ‘god’ class specifications, as well as being one of the first Android phones to use the new Qualcoom Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset. But Asus also offers the ‘ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition’ which uses a non-plus version of the Snapdragon 865 chip. So the price of this variant is cheaper.

Asus offers several variants of RAM capacity and internal memory or ROM for the ROG Phone 3. RAM options for the 856 Plus chip version consist of 12 GB and 16 GB. And ROMs starting at 128 GB and 512 GB. As for the Strix version, it has 8GB RAM and a choice of 128GB and 256GB of internal memory.
Asus has also provided an increase in the ultasonic touch sensor section, namely AirTrigger 3, which is located on each side of the cellphone. There are also many variations that are regulated in the use of AirTrigger 3. So that it makes it easier for users to play games.
The screen size of this latest Asus gaming phone is AMOLED measuring 6.6 inches and a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. Not only that, the screen also has a touch latency of 25 ms and the lowest of all smartphones today. The ROG Phone 3 screen supports HDR10 Plus and has 1 billion colors.
Asus has also added a camera on the back, so there are now three cameras on the back of the ROG Phone 3. But only a 5MP macro camera is added.
While the main camera of this phone has also been upgraded to 64MP with IMX685 sensor technology and a 13MP ultrawide lens. While the selfie camera has a 24MP sensor.
The main camera of ROG Phone 3 can record 8K resolution video at 30 fps (frames per second) or 4K 120 fps. There is also a HyperSteady Video mode to maintain stability in taking videos. Then the business of recording comes the best audio and takes advantage of the four cellphone microphones that are around it.
This phone is equipped with a 6,000 mAh capacity battery and supports 30 W fast charging. Asus says charging for 46 minutes can charge a battery with a capacity of 4,510 mAh reaching 70 percent.
Asus ROG Phone 3 Comes with God Specs
Asus ROG Phone 3 runs the Android 10 operating system with two interfaces, namely ROG UI and Zen UI. The 3.5 mm audio jack is absent on this smartphone, but if you want to use accessories such as the AeroActive Cooler cooler, there is already an additional audio port. Apart from cooling, Asus also offers a variety of additional accessories for the ROG Phone 3.
Then what is the price of the Asus ROG Phone 3 smartphone? for Europe, the ROG Phone 3 for the 12GB / 512GB variant is priced at 999 Euros (Rp.16.8 million). The 16GB / 512GB variant is priced at 1099 Euros (IDR 18.6 million). As for the Strix Edition 8GB / 256GB, it costs 799 Euros (IDR 13.5 million).
Interestingly, there is a high probability that ROG Phone 3 will be coming to Indonesia in the near future. Although there has been no confirmation from Asus, this gaming cellphone has a TKDN certificate from the Ministry of Industry.
