Iron Man Armor: Mark XLIX or also known as Rescue Armor is the armor used by Pepper Potts in Avengers: Endgame.

This armor was designed by Tony Stark and bears a strong resemblance to Iron Man Armor: Mark LXXXV. Potts uses it during the final battle against Thanos’ forces with Tony Stark, the Avengers and all the other heroes.

Rescue Armor

Tony Stark originally designed the Rescue Armor before Infinity War. He hopes this armor will be used by Pepper Potts if needed. After the armor was finished, Stark hid it in the garage.

His daughter Morgan Stark later found the armor and played with the helmet. However, it was discovered by Tony and hiding it back in the garage.

After the Hulk snapped his fingers to bring back half the population of the universe, Doctor Strange contacted Pepper Potts and the rest of the heroes to join the Avengers in their final battle against Thanos.

The power of the Rescue Armor

Rescue Armor is equipped with high-tech weapons and massive firepower. The design is quite feminine with a color scheme consisting of purple and gray.

1. Super Powers

Rescue Armor is able to increase the user’s strength. This armor has been shown to easily lift War Machine as it falls from the sky.

2. Super Resistance

Pepper Potts armor has an extraordinary super durability. Tony Stark makes this armor immune to any attack. This was proven when he was able to withstand destruction during the fight against Thanos’ forces.

3. Fly

Another strength possessed by the Rescue Armor is its high flying ability. This armor can levitate and fly at super speed through the jet propulsion engines.

4. Energy Shots

The Rescue Armor has a stronger version of the energy shot emitted from the power source in the chest. This energy shot can destroy or melt almost anything in its path.

5. Ion Cannon

Another strength of the Rescue Armor is that it has the ability to issue an Ion cannon similar to Mark L. However, Ion Canon’s strength is stronger than Mark L. One shot can easily destroy an airplane.

6. Laser

This one power is also called “laser grenade” by Pepper Potts. This laser attack can be ejected from the shoulder or hand.
