Synopsis of What's Up with Love 2 (AADC 2) Complete

Since the official trailer was released in early March, fans have been curious about the continuation of the story of Cinta and Rangga. The public tries to predict what will happen after 14 years have passed, and above all, the reason why Cinta called Rangga ‘evil’.

But unfortunately, Mira Lesmana who acted as producer with Riri Riza in control of the director, and the cast AADC 2 really keep the storyline of the sequels What’s with love? so that it doesn’t leak to the public.

After holding the premiere of AADC 2 in Yogyakarta on Saturday and in Jakarta last Monday. Finally, the storyline of this film is revealed.

As in the trailer, AADC 2 starting with the meeting of four old friends, Love (Dian Sastrowardoyo), Maura (Titi Kamal), Carmen (Adinia Wirasati), and Milly (Priscilla’s side). Each of them brings a new story, Maura has a husband and has several children, Milly is pregnant, while Cinta is marrying her lover, Trian (Ario Bayu).

They welcomed Carmen who had just come out of a drug rehab and decided to go on vacation together to Yogyakarta. The four of them alone, without their husbands and children.

Meanwhile, far from the existence of Cinta, Rangga (Nicholas Saputra) apparently built a coffee shop in New York City. Unexpectedly, a woman came to his horse, claiming to be Rangga’s half sister. This young girl has one request, namely for Rangga to visit his mother, who now lives in Yogyakarta.

After thinking about it, Rangga finally decided to return to his homeland. Accidentally, Carmen and Milly met Rangga and after a long discussion, they finally decided to tell Cinta about it.

At first Cinta refused, but in the end she agreed to meet Rangga. Love wants to end everything that has happened between them. Love also needs clarity, why several years before, Rangga suddenly disappeared without a word.

Apart from the main plot about Cinta and Rangga, the audience will also be given many explanations about the development of other characters in AADC. For example, because Carmen fell into using drugs, why is Alya no longer with them, and also who is Milly’s husband.
