Sony Reconfirms PS5 Game Schedule!
Some time ago Sony has postponed an event that reveals the game PlayStation 5. The event was previously scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 4. However, Sony postponed the event in honor of the Black Lives Matter movement without confirmation of a schedule change.
Now Sony has officially confirmed that the latest PS5 game disclosure event will be held on Thursday 11th June at 1pm PT. With that said, this event has been postponed for one week for the reasons previously mentioned. On this news, Sony not only revealed the change date for the event, they also confirmed other things.
Fans Can’t Watch PS5 Games At 4K Settings Yet
Sony said that at the event it will broadcast at 1080p and 30 frames per second. Thus, the game will not look sharp enough if the viewer is watching it through the 4K setting. They also revealed the reason why it was in the arrangement, it was none other than the production problems that Sony experienced with its team working from home.
So PS5 fans looking to see it in 4K will have to wait to get their hands on their consoles first. In addition, Sony also advised viewers watching PS5 games at the event to use headphones. They say that there is some cool audio on the show that doesn’t sound impressive when listening through loudspeakers.
Previous Schedule of Events Leaked on Twitch Ads
Previously there had also been leaks that revealed the date of the event. The date of the event has already been leaked through an advertisement on the platform Twitch. One hour after the information was leaked, Sony just officially announced it. That way, PS5 fans can already set a schedule to watch the cool games that will be coming to the next generation consoles.
Another interesting piece of news about the PS5 is that Sony has reportedly started production of the PS5 console, which means the target for release in the 2021 holiday season will be on target. But some concerns remain, such as a pandemic coronavirus which could be a barrier for Sony to reach its target.
