Show Schedule for Overlord Season 2 Announced

Previously, Dafunda Otaku had announced that Anime Overlord Season 2 had been confirmed, this time the Preview Video or what you better know as the PV for Overlord S2 has just been released.

Like the previous year, the anime, which will air in January 2021, is still being managed by MadHouse. You can see the Overlord Season 2 teaser video below:

PV Anime Overlord Season 2

The 1 minute 30 second promotional video shows an insert story that will be present at Overlord S2 later. Many new characters were introduced in Season 2. Naoyuki Itou is back in charge of Overlord as a director, accompanied by Yuki Sugawara in writing the script. Satoshi Tasaki will be joining Takahuro Yoshimatsu as character designer.

For those of you who haven’t yet, Anime Overlord is adapted from a Light Novel of the same name. This fantasy genre LN was created by Kugane Maruyama with illustrations from So-bin.

Synopsis of Overlord

For those of you who don’t know anime Overlord, it would be nice to know the outline of the story. This series tells the story of Momonga, a gamer who decides not to log out when the online game Yggdrasil closes. When he woke up, he realized that his mind had been trapped in the body of the Momonga character he was playing. Even the side characters or NPCs gain awareness and speak without needing to be ordered. This is where Ainz Oaal Gown’s role must be carried out, namely to rule the world.
