No one in the world doubts that Avengers: Infinity War Marvel Studios will be a wreck at the box office. After all, the culmination of ten years of MCU films is perhaps the greatest film milestone of our generation. No, the question is not whether Avengers 3 will make a lot of money, but how much money will Marvel spend.

After the success of Black Panther earlier this year, it seems that Marvel Studios is still getting a surprise from this film. So, the possible estimates or assumptions for Infinity War’s earnings, might pass Black Panther.

Here’s the estimated earnings for Avengers: Infinity War at the opening weekend according to Box Office Pro:

• Domestic weekend openings: $ 200M – $ 235M
• Domestic gross income: $ 490M – $ 590M

While the report does not include worldwide projections, there are some possible preliminary estimates. Avengers: Infinity War is placed against the holder of the best weekend opening record for The Fate of the Furious ($ 541.9M). What’s more, it’s not that surprising considering FotF is the first major installment of one of the world’s top film franchises.
