Isekai wa Light Novel Smartphone to Tomo gets an anime adaptation that will air this summer
Another Isekai (otherworldly) Light Novel which will receive an anime adaptation this year. Patora Fuyuhara’s light novel entitled “Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni” will air this summer. Around the month of June, July, until August this year.
Light Novel Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni or in English is called In Another World With My Smartphone will involve several staff. Among other things, Takeyuki Yanase (Himegoto, Yōsei Hakone-chan Onsen) will direct this anime at Reed Production. Natsuko Takahashi (My Love Story !!) supervise and write series scripts. Toshihide Masudate (Papillon Rose), Masahiro Sekiguchi (Rainbow Days), and Miyako Nishida (Rainbow Days) will be credited as character designer and animation director. Satoshi Shibata is the art director, while Aki Watanabe (Sound of the Sky, Rainbow Days) as a color designer. Takumi Itou (Pretty Rhythm Aurora Dream) as sound director. EXIT TUNES is in charge of music production.
Synopsis
After an accident that was struck by lightning to death, Mochizuki Touya, 15 years old woke up and found himself staring at God. “I am afraid to say that I made a little mistake … ”Complained the god. God also said that he could send Touya to another world, and as a bonus, he could take his smartphone with him. So start Touya’s adventure in a new medieval world.
Fuyuhara launched the novel Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni in 2013 at Shōsetsu-ka ni Narou, and the Novel Hobby Japan label published the first volume illustrated by Eiji Usatsuka in 2021. Hobby Japan published all seven volumes in November, and will publish the eighth volume. on Thursday. J-Novel Club plans to release an e-book novel: Volume 1 which will be scheduled for March 23, volume 2 on May 3, Volume 3 on June 14 and volume 4 on July 26.
