Synopsis of Ayat-ayat Cinta 2 (2017), Fahri's Dilemma between Two Women
This film is a sequel to Ayat-ayat Cinta released in 2008. Ayat-ayat Cinta 2 was produced by MD Pictures and directed by Guntur Soeharjanto. The script for this film was written by Alim Sudio and Ifan Ismail.
In this film, there will be two new female characters who will accompany Fahri. The two female characters are named Hulya and Sabina. Ayat-ayat Cinta 2 will be released on December 21, 2021.
Synopsis of Verses of Love 2
‘Verse Verse of Love 2‘which is a continuation of the previous film where Fahri Abdullah (Fedi Nuril) currently lives alone in Edinburgh, with his assistant Hulusi (Pandji Pragiwaksono). Fahri had lost Aisha seven months ago, when Aisha volunteered in the Gaza strip. Since then Fahri never heard about Aisha again.
Fahri continued to wait in his sadness that hit his heart. The sadness he tries to overcome with his busy life as a lecturer and also a successful businessman in the city. Fahri is also preoccupied with the presence of Misbah (Arie Untung), his old friend, who wants to stay with him.
Fahri is often faced with the problems of his various neighbors. There is a Jewish grandmother, Catarina (Dewi Irawan) who is having problems with her stepson. There is also Keira McGills (Chelsea Islan), a talented violinist who really hates Fahri, because he is considered a terrorist who has caused the death of their father due to the bombing in London.
Fahri tries to continue to carry out Aisha’s mandate so that he can help those around him. This good Nia Fahri often makes misunderstandings and leads to more complicated problems that endanger his life.
Fahri’s life becomes more complicated when Hulya (Tatjana Saphira) is present, Aisha’s nephew, who has now grown into a beautiful girl. Hulya is cheerful and dynamic, showing her interest in Fahri.
Hulya is willing to replace Aisha’s role in Fahri’s life.
Fahri is hesitant to open his heart to Hulya’s presence, it is the same as he admits that Aisha is dead. Fahri still hopes that every night, Aisha will appear in his life again.
Everyone supports Fahri to continue his life with Hulya, including Sabina (Dewi Sandra), an abandoned woman with a disabled face who Fahri accommodates to live with them. Sabina, who was considered Fahri’s brother, was not only able to help take care of Fahri’s house, but was also able to make Fahri continue his life.
