Some Vivo cellphone prices in Indonesia have increased by Rp. 200,000, what models?

Currently, a number of smartphone vendors in Indonesia are starting to adjust the price of each of their devices sold in Indonesia in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. One of them is the Vivo vendor.

According to Dafunda Tekno, monitoring from the Vivo Indonesia website as well as several online sales partners such as Lazada, Tokopedia, Shopee, Blibi, JD.ID and Eraspace. There are several Vivo cellphones that have experienced price increases. Especially for the Vivo Y series phones.

The increase in the price of HP Vivo in Indonesia starting Wednesday (22/4/2020) is around Rp. 200,000 on average when compared to the official price since its launch.

If previously at the end of March 2021, there were several Vivo cellphones that had actually dropped in price. Like the Vivo V17 Pro series (8GB / 128GB), one of them.

The smartphone, which was launched in September 2021, is sold at a price of IDR 5 million. So the price drops to around Rp. 700,000 cheaper than the price at launch which is priced at Rp. 5.7 million.

However, this is still fairly reasonable. Because the HP Vivo V19 is now priced at a similar price of IDR 5 million for the 8GB RAM variant and 256GB internal memory.

Vivo has confirmed that there will be no impact from the COVID-19 outbreak in Indonesia for some of the smartphones above. For now it is still running normally.

“If it is from manufacturing, you can say that it is still safe. The reason is that the factory to manufacture is already in Indonesia for all Vivo cellphones that are officially in Indonesia already made here, “said PR Manager of Vivo Indonesia Tys Rarasmurti.
