Rick Grimes Will Return In The Walking Dead Movie
Andrew Lincoln, played by Rick Grimes, will return to The Walking Dead. But he did not return to star in TV series, but to feature films.
Even though Lincoln left The Walking Dead during Season 9, the studio assured that the character’s story would continue. They also revealed that a trilogy of the TV series The Walking Dead starring Rick Grimes is in the works.
A teaser for the first Walking Dead film has been released along with the announcement that the film will actually be released theatrically.

The teaser video above doesn’t show much like the movie title or official release date. We can only see helicopters flying towards the city. From there the title Walking Dead appeared and was followed by the message “Rick Grimes is back in theaters only.” This film will be a collaboration between AMC, Skybound and Universal Pictures.
Fans of the Walking Dead television series last saw Andrew Lincoln blow up the bridge leading to Alexandria. After the explosion, the surviving Rick is found by Jadis who are both taken away by a mysterious helicopter. The announced cinematic trilogy will shed some light on what’s next.
